Jennifer Tilly is a Los Angeles native, born in sub-standard conditions on the 16th of September, 1958. Her father worked as a salesman and her mother was a school teacher. Jennifer was the youngest child in her family and she frequently accompanied her mother who worked as a teacher at school as well as a theatre teacher to shows. She thought she was remarkable. Jennifer's divorce came about when she turned five. Jennifer lived the majority of her young life living in British Columbia after her mom relocated there with four other children. Jennifer did not attend school however, as a child she was extremely artistic. Her time at Canadian schools resulted in her becoming frequently the victim of bullying. When she was in high school, her love for theatre began to fade. In an effort to counter her loss of interest, her mother encouraged her to be an extra in various plays. Her mother inspired all of her children to acquire an appreciation for performing arts. Then, she began to take action.
