Rene Marie Russo was an American film director, actor, and supermodel. Rene Marie Russo is an American actor, film maker and former supermodel. She is known for her elegance beauty. Her long-standing presence in a highly competitive industry is a testament to her talents and abilities as a performer. Modeling began in the 1970s. She soon became one of the best models. The beginning of the following decade, she began studying the arts and performed prior to appearing on stage at Los Angeles and elsewhere in California. In 1987, Russo was the lead character Eden Kendell in ABC's drama Sable. In the following year she portrayed Tom Berengers love interest in her debut movie Major League. Although she was initially skeptical of her abilities in the field of acting, public was enticed because of her tenacity. They were particularly impressed by her performance in Wolfgang Petersen's Outbreak where she held her own against the likes of Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. However by her own admission she has never been passionate in acting. She self-imposed a long absence in the year 2005. The reason she returned was her role in Thor. She began her career as an amateur fighter participating in regional competitions prior to signing to Invicta Fighting Championships and later joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Her accomplishments both in and out of the Octagon has made her an international brand after she was a part of the UFC. Namajunas had his birth on the 29th of June 1992 at Milwaukee Wisconsin. His birthplace was born into an ethnically diverse Lithuanian family. Rose was involved in a variety of activities as a kid, including basketball and Kickboxing. Invicta Fighting Championships signed the 18-year-old at the age of 18, and she was able to beat two opponents via submission. This caught the attention of Dana White who signed her to join the UFC Strawweight at the age of 22. Through Rose her career, she's gone through periods of both the highs and lows with each victory has been hers. Rose fought Carla Esparza on April 15, 2015, for the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose beat Esparza with a technical knockout within less than 3 minute of the Round One. Rose not only took home the title but she was also recognized as Fighter Of The Night. Rose also made MMA history by winning this fight since she was the first woman to compete in a title fight in any organization of note. Namajunas won several fights following the fight, and she received the title of Performance Of The Night by UFC for her victories over Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
